ANNOUNCEMENT

Manuscripts and Proceedings

Conference proceedings will be published and the manuscripts will be refereed during the conference. The manuscripts are expected to include some new (unpublished) material, even if this material consists of preliminary results. Manuscripts that simply reproduce, review, or summarize previously published results will not be given serious consideration unless a review was explicitly requested by the Editors. The conference proceedings will be published as a special issue of Physica B: Condensed Matter. The Guest Editors will be S.K. Estreicher, M.W. Holtz, C.H. Seager and A.F. Wright.

The maximum lengths for Plenary, Invited, and Contributed (oral, poster, Corbett) papers will be 8, 6, and 4 printed pages, respectively. Please download, by clicking here , the Physica B instructions for the preparation of your manuscripts.

The manuscripts must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats. If you wish to submit your manuscript in Word format, please download the Word template (ignore any warning about disabled or missing macros). That template gives a correct indication of the length of a Word manuscript.   Please download the LaTEX template for submission of your manusscript in that format.

All the manuscripts should list up to five (5) keywords for use in the Index.

All manuscripts must be provided upon registration. Do *NOT* send your figures or manuscripts to us by e-mail.

We shall need the following from you upon registration:
(a) A CD or USB device containing (1) the Microsoft Word or LaTeX file used to generate the manuscript and (2) all the figures in EPS, TIF, or GIF format. The text and all the figures of a manuscript should be in the same folder. The folder, manuscript, and figures should be labeled with the index assigned to the corresponding accepted abstract. For example, “TO1_2” means Tuesday Oral session 1 - 2nd talk. The folder should be labeled TO1_2, the manuscript TO1_2 (.doc or .tex), the first figure TO1_2Fig1 (.eps, .tif, or .gif etc).
(b) Three printed copies of the manuscript. Please indicate the index of your paper on the title page of the manuscript.
All the papers will be refereed during the conference. A limited number of computers will be available at the editorial office at the conference site. Minor revisions can be done during the conference. Manuscripts that need significant corrections must be returned within two (2) weeks after the end of the conference. This deadline is firm. Late papers will not be included in the proceedings.
